It is with deep sorrow that we say goodbye to one of our co-founders Guy Eger.

Guy passed on May 31, 2018 after a short illness.

It was Guy’s vision, and that of his wife Eileen, that spurred the beginings of what was to become one of the most visible organizations helping childhood cancer patients on Long Island and the surrounding areas.  Guy set the wheels in motion in early 1994 during a time when his own son Kevin was fighting his own battle against the disease.  It was Guy and Eileen that realized the overwhelming need for an organization that could help the families of childhood cancer patients.  At the time, there were very few and the organization they formed has helped hundreds of families since.

We will miss him greatly and send our most heartfelt sympathies to his family during this difficult time.
