About Us
A Mother's Kiss is a not-for-profit organization formed for the purpose of providing emotional and financial support to the families of childhood cancer patients in the Long Island area. Since 1994 we have been helping these special families any way we can. By working in cooperation with the Pediatric Oncology departments at our partner hospitals, we are able to develop a team approach to helping the families. Please be aware that although there are many families afflicted with many different types of illnesses, A Mother’s Kiss focuses solely on children with pediatric cancers.
Why Help AMK?
A Mother’s Kiss receives no public funding from any Federal, State, or Local governments. Our contributions come solely from individuals and corporations that want to make a difference in the lives of the very special families we help. The support of caring people like you helps ensure that A Mothers Kiss will continue our mission of helping childhood cancer patients and their families throughout Long Island. A Mother’s Kiss is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. Some or all of your donation may be deductible. Please consult with your tax adviser to determine the extent of any tax deduction you may take.
